The Transportation Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing network planning, optimization, and utilization of transportation to enhance operating margins and ensure performance aligns with business targets.

Kewajiban

• Responsible for overall performance network planning, optimization, and utilization transportation to improve operating margin and utilization.
• Responsible for demand planning/managing and utilization and coordinating with operations and related parties to ensure performance meets the plan.
• Track performance performance metrics and provide optimization.
• Accountable for allocation control for transportation to optimize route and capacity utilization.
• Monitor driver utilization and coordinate with fleet management to ensure optimal level.
• Plan operations capacity and ensure resources availability to support short-term and long-term business targets.
• Accountable for overall operating cost (unit cost) and asset utilization for transportation.
• Ensure day-to-day operations meet SLA, track performance to ensure all operations are on target with leadership in preventive and corrective actions to reduce damages, delays, fail rate, and wait time.
• Accountable for collaboration with control tower to initiate new ideas to improve operating cost and service levels.
• Ensure the operations team will coordinate with sales and customers to support on an ad hoc basis, ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure transportation operations and documentations are in compliance and meet customer and compliance requirements.
• Review, develop, and measure key metrics for the operation.
• Be accountable and track performance of operating cost for transportation.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 10 years’ experience in transport management in large operational scale.
• Ability to understand P&L and cost models.
• Proven problem-solving ability with a solutions orientation, matched with an ability to solve customer's problems creatively.
• Strong leadership, motivation, influence, and team building skill.
• Quality and Improvement experience and Good analytical skills.
