Detail posisi

Support the purchasing department by ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials and components to align with production plans. The Assistant Supervisor will also handle both domestic and international purchases while keeping a close watch on cost control and delivery performance.

Kewajiban

• Set procurement goals for raw materials and components to match production schedules and ensure timely delivery.
• Work closely with other departments such as production, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations.
• Handle reports of delivery delays, quality issues, and other problems related to incoming materials.
• Oversee and verify the accuracy of all purchasing documents, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Execute purchasing orders for raw materials from both local and international suppliers to meet production needs.
• Collaborate with different departments to track and manage costs and expenses associated with procurement.
• Conduct on-site visits to suppliers' production facilities to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a purchasing department.
• Strong negotiation skills for managing supplier contracts and securing favorable terms.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking for managing procurement operations and solving problems.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards to ensure high-quality materials.
• Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of cost control and budget management.
• Good command of the English language for effective communication with international suppliers.
• Problem-solving mindset, capable of handling procurement challenges effectively.
• Proactive and self-motivated to ensure materials are sourced efficiently and on time.
