About this position

Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) is a global semiconductor leader that bridges the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. The Supervisor, Quality Control is responsible for overseeing the quality control processes to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of employees involved in inspecting incoming materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Achieves organizational goals by communicating job expectations, planning, and monitoring progress.
• Evaluates employee performance through coaching and counseling, utilizing company policies, systems, and procedures. Develops opportunities for personal growth and maintains workforce quality by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Generates and revises necessary specifications to continuously improve product realization and quality systems.
• Participates in cross-functional team activities, including:
• Problem resolution through the 8D process.
• Preventive action activities such as FMEA or similar methodologies Improvement initiatives related to cost, quality, service, etc.
• Other relevant activities Generates reports to track current and past performance, identify areas for improvement, and continuously monitor progress.
• Communicates, coordinates, and responds to personnel from other ADI sites to provide necessary information.
• Drives improvements in QC metrics, such as cycle time, hold lots, etc.
• Supports ESD certification and monitoring. Assists the organization in passing external audits, such as customer audits and certification audits. Participates in internal quality system and process audits.
• Supports company-wide programs such as 5S, safety, environmental initiatives, and other.
• Perform other tasks assigned.

Requirements

• For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
