Incorporated in 1978, Birla Carbon Thailand (BCT) produces carbon black. Its commercial operations began in 1980 with a capacity of 16,000 TPA. About this position

The Manager – Mechanical, Civil and Utility is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations in the chemical and petrochemical industries, ensuring reliability and efficiency of mechanical equipment, and managing utility resources.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedule
• Work as team-mate to initiate Proactive maintenance methodology for improvement of reliability of mechanical equipment
• Prepare coordination with team of annual shutdown planning.
• Work as team-mate for breakdown root cause analysis and suggest/ implement technological solutions to overcome same.
• Manage facility like TEC 1, TEC2, TEC 3, BPF/MP6/7, MP1, Pilot, Utilities, ETP for civil maintenance
• Maintenance of Equipment, Pump, vacuum pump, Gear Pump, Centrifugal pump, Agitator and Flacker.
• Operation and maintenance of utilities like DM Plant, HM (Hot oil system), Cooling Tower, Fire water pump house.
• Control resources consumption in Utility
• Review utility operation and energy conservation
• Manage and control shift management
• Control Mechanical / utility cost on regular basis for optimization.
• Monitor maintenance cost on regular basis for optimisation.
• Improvement / Modification
• Safety and statutory compliance
• People development

Requirements

• Bachelor of Mechanic Engineer
• Mechanical engineer with 10-15 years maintenance experience in chemical/Petrochemicals industries
• Spoken and written English
• Good interpersonal relations
• Able to work at Maptaphut Industrial Estate, Rayong
