The IT Support position in Rayong involves providing effective IT assistance to users, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring the stability of IT systems.
• Monitoring, managing, and resolving incidents and service requests through the IT Service Management System, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
• Provide prompt, effective IT support to both local and expatriate users, ensuring continuous operations across factory and warehouse locations through remote and on-site assistance.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and routine maintenance of critical IT infrastructure, including computers, operating systems, email, printers, scanners, telephones, and all essential applications.
• Ensure the ongoing stability of IT systems, including telephone systems, internet, call center systems, servers, networks, and the data center server room, through continuous monitoring and proactive troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software inventories, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
• Oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and call center systems.
• Collaborate closely with the HQ IT team to resolve complex technical issues, streamline processes, and support business objectives.
• Liaise with external suppliers and vendors to ensure the successful completion of IT projects on time and within budget.
• Generate and deliver detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on incident trends and service requests to identify recurring issues and improve IT processes.
• Perform other IT-related duties and initiatives as assigned by the IT Supervisor or IT Manager.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT Help Desk or IT Support roles.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and supporting Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365 environments.
• Experience in using remote support tools to assist end users and manage systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN Cisco networks, switches, CCTV and Windows servers.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset and good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
