The Maintenance Engineer (PLC, Robot) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems in production machines, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company standards.
• Install and maintain electrical wiring and connections for all production machines. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
• Support line automation and continuous improvements, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Conduct maintenance on all equipment, including diagnostics and repairs to systems. Responsible for achieving quality, productivity, minimizing downtime, and supporting production.
• Coordinate and prioritize day-to-day MC machine support activities.
• Supervise and lead MC maintenance technicians.
• Report to the maintenance supervisor and implement all TPM programs for all tooling and equipment on the shop floor. Follow up on APS (Production System) and Autoliv Standard practices.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic) or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of experience in maintenance within automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with semi-automated processes in a manufacturing setup.
• Knowledge of machines, equipment, devices, PLC programming, and vision systems is preferable.
• Skills in using Yamaha and Mitsubishi robots, and Mitsubishi and Siemens PLCs.
• Good communication skills in English.
