Contract Specialist (Fixed Term 3 Years)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing the work of EPC contractual concerns for Post-Award activities, to ensure the CFP contractual concerns are addressed and managed in due course. Highlight to Procurement and Contract Manager, Contract Manager and Contract Management-Lead once the concern is foreseen.
• Responsible for tasks of draft, review and negotiate the contractual documents, agreement, settlement, especially for legal and commercial points.
• Coordinate with relevant parties such as EPC Contractor Contract Teams, PMC Contractor Personnel, TOP’s Engineering, Construction and Procurement Team, TOP’s BOI, legal, and insurance teams, for example, for related contractual concerns/ status.
• Support TOP Procurement and Contract Management team for all related tasked under CFP Project.
• Prepare and maintain related documentation, report and applicable database e.g. contractual concern tracking, contracts database, payment and invoicing and all other contracts and commercial documents under responsibility of procurement and contract department.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract management or legal/dispute resolutions.
• Solid coordination skill. Good communication in Thai and English.
• Practical knowledge of legal and contractual detailed work processes.
• Basic knowledge of insurance, BOI and tax exemption privilege relating to the Project execution.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Program; Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree: Business or Law degree is preferred.
