About this position
Responsibilities
• Sales focused, driving net new business to existing SoftwareOne clients, and taking a proactive role in selling, responsible for account growth within respective category above a strategic threshold.
• More input needed for planning (develop annual growth plans to meet targets, stay informed about competitors, and build targeted campaigns for current accounts).
• Understanding of business problems and respective software solutions, along with industry and market awareness.
• Owing local relationships with ISVs, maintaining and growing local partnerships with specific Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and being accountable for maintaining the relationship and liaising with country-level ISV counterparts.
• Scoping and sizing opportunities including identifying cross-/up-sell and defining margins in alignment with Sales.
• Work with Sales and Delivery to ensure detailed implementation and client satisfaction.
Requirements
• ISV/Category Expertise: Shown experience in leading and growing relationships with ISVs.
• Sales Acuity: Strong understanding of how to approach and successfully close a sale.
• Outstanding Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate sophisticated solutions.
• Relationship Building: Shown ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
• Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes.
• Industry Awareness: Strong awareness of industry trends and market dynamics.
