About this position

The Production Planner at Thailand Dream Jobs by Huneety is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and adjust plans as necessary. The Production Planner will report directly to the Operations Manager, providing insights and recommendations to enhance production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or production capacity.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with various departments, including sales, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on production goals.
• Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and potential issues.
• Manage and prioritize production orders based on urgency, capacity, and resource availability.
• Conduct regular meetings with production teams to communicate schedules, expectations, and any changes in plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Continuously evaluate and improve production planning processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
