The Facility Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of the company's facilities, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations. This role involves managing facility projects, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. The Facility Engineer reports directly to the Director of Operations, providing regular updates on facility performance and recommending improvements to optimize operations.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facility equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning of equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance services.
• Manage the facility's budget and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols in the facility.
• Develop and implement energy conservation initiatives to reduce the facility's environmental impact.
• Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related needs and provide technical support.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service contracts.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in facility management to recommend innovative solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management or engineering
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
