Project Management & Brand Design Lead

MAKEIO CO., LTD. (Pathum Wan)
Bangkok, Thailand 🇹🇭
MAKEiO is leading in electric micro mobility in Thailand. We own the well-known brand e.g. MONOWHEEL who is the sole distributor of Segway-Ninebot and DYU in Thailand.

About this position

We’re searching for a multi-talented professional to fill a unique dual role as our Project & Creative Lead. This role will be part Project Manager (focusing on 2-3 major construction or event projects each year, such as Playerbox expansions) and part Creative/Art Director (leading brand design, visual identity, and marketing collateral when not overseeing construction). If you have a knack for organizing complex projects and a keen eye for design, this might be the perfect fit!

Responsibilities

• Construction & Event Project Management
• Timeline Planning: Develop and maintain schedules for 2-3 major construction or event setups each year, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Budget & Cost Control:
• Estimate materials and labor costs (e.g., partition walls, electrical installations).
• Negotiate with vendors and contractors to keep spending within approved budgets.
• Site Coordination: Oversee on-site activities and ensure compliance with quality standards and local regulations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and project success.

2. Art Direction & Creative Oversight
• Brand Aesthetics: Shape and maintain the company’s visual identity—logos, color schemes, corporate materials—across various touchpoints.
• Design Support:
• Provide creative direction for marketing collateral, event branding, promotional images, and signage.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, etc.) to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
• Visual Merchandising & CI Management: Propose and implement new design ideas that enhance customer experiences, especially during non-construction periods.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Teamwork: Work closely with professionals from multiple disciplines (legal, engineering, international relations) to align project and brand goals.
• Creative Brainstorming: Contribute design insights to ad campaigns, social media visuals, or event concepts, bringing a fresh, artistic perspective.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users to refine and improve both construction processes and creative outputs.

Requirements

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Project Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design, Visual Arts, Event Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction management, event coordination, or creative direction. (Candidates with hybrid backgrounds are encouraged to apply.)

• Construction & Event Skills
• Familiarity with cost estimation for construction materials, basic permitting processes, and vendor negotiations.
• Understanding of timeline management for complex projects and ability to multitask efficiently.

• Creative & Design Skills
• Artistic Eye: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) or similar design tools.
• Branding Knowledge: Ability to maintain and evolve a consistent brand identity.
• Background in art direction or visual merchandising is a plus.
