The Supply Chain Assistant supports the organization's overall supply chain operations. Working directly with the Supply Chain Manager, this role helps oversee daily operations including import activities, warehouse management, and logistics.
1. Plan and coordinate the supply chain cycle, including forecasting, procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
2. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the supply chain teams.
3. Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiencies, reduce costs, and maximize customer satisfaction.
4. Analyze and monitor supply chain data to identify and resolve potential issues.
5. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and cost control.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
7. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
8. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the supply chain.
9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
10. Assisted on Training, mentoring, and managing staff within the supply chain team.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
• 3-10 years of experience in a supply chain related position
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, warehousing, and logistics
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills• Must be results oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment
• Knowledge in Food science is an advantage
• Good in written and verbal communication skills
