Assistant Maintenance Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Assist Maintenance Manager in planning and executing preventive maintenance programs.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, contractors, or vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks and reasonable cost.
• Monitor equipment performance and provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and spare part stock control.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost reduction by self-maintenance for all Production plants and Warehouses.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve Safety issues and effective operational performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities (i.e. Electrical system) and equipment to identify and reduce potential risks.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (Electronic/Instrument Engineering knowledge) is preferred.
• At least 3 years experience in maintenance management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical, Electronic & Instrument Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
