The Head of English Program at Tantrarak School will oversee the development and implementation of the English curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and fostering a dynamic learning environment. This role involves leading a team of educators, providing professional development, and assessing program effectiveness to enhance student outcomes. The position reports directly to the School Director, collaborating closely to achieve the school's academic goals.
• Develop and implement the English language curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, observations and evaluation of English language instructors.
• Monitor and assess student progress and program effectiveness through regular evaluations and feedback.
• Collaborate with subject departments to integrate fully English language learning throughout the school’s English Program.
• Organize professional development workshops and training sessions for English language teachers.
• Ensure that teaching materials and resources are up-to-date and aligned with best practices in language education.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Manage the program budget and allocate resources effectively to support program goals.
• Communicate with parents and stakeholders about program developments and student achievements.
• Stay informed about current trends and research in English language education to continuously improve the program.
• Master’s degree and or Doctoral degree in English, Education, or a related field would be highly beneficial.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching English and 5 years in program management.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in curriculum development and implementation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with faculty, students, and parents.
• Familiarity with educational technology and innovative teaching methodologies.
