Responsibilities

As a QC Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all materials and finished products, as well as managing and resolving all quality related complaints and non-conformance.
• Day to day running of the QC Flavors Laboratory involved in testing incoming raw materials and finished products.
• Assume ultimate responsibility to ensure employees work in accordance with company OH&S, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of quality engineering tools and systems as appropriate to make plant processes more accurate, precise and reliable.
• Assist in Quality System and Quality Control process development and improvement.
• Supplying technical service to customers including provision of Certificates of Conformance, Certificates of Analysis and addressing all quality related complaints.
• Investigation of product related non-conformances to resolve problems involving root cause analysis. Develop corrective and preventative actions which may involve improvements in procedures, formulations, engineering and ingredients.
• Ensuring all Quality related complaints and Non conformances are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.

Requirements

What You Will Need To Be Successful
• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Chemical, Pharmacy or any other relevant discipline.
• At least 3 years' experience in Food industry or Flavor’s QC function.
• Familiar with Sensory organoleptic, Analytical and Microbiology QC related activities.
• Proficiency in English communication skills. Fluency in secondary local language will be advantageous.
• Knowledge in MS Office and SAP system.
• Experience with HACCP, sanitation allergen control, GMP, and other quality programs are added advantage.
