About this position

Join our team as a Sales Engineer, where you'll lead sales initiatives in the Food Manufacturing sector, focusing on the food and seafood processing industries in Indonesia. You'll manage the entire sales project cycle, from outreach to project management and final acceptance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and expanding market.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market studies to assess sales potential in the Food and Seafood Machinery & Processing sector in Indonesia.
• Identify and target potential customers to enhance the company's presence and profitability in Indonesia.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships through regular customer visits.
• Gather technical information during customer discussions to support proposal development.
• Collaborate with the Applications department to create viable and technically sound customer propositions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure all necessary information is provided until the deal is closed.
• Identify and participate in relevant conferences, exhibitions, and business events to foster relationships and showcase company solutions.
• Deliver technical discussions and presentations to highlight the benefits of the company's offerings.
• Report business activities, including sales forecasts and budgets, to the CEO in Thailand.
• Travel regularly to Thailand for meetings and updates on business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or equivalent with a technical background)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in selling machinery and industrial equipment within the food and/or seafood industry
• Outgoing and persuasive personality
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Proactive, self-reliant, and goal-oriented
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Possess existing technical knowledge and understanding of processes in the food industry
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Own a vehicle to travel locally
• Readiness to travel frequently locally and in Thailand
