The VP Learning & Development is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of all learning and development programs within the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs, develop strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge, and ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organizational goals. The VP Learning & Development will play a critical role in cultivating a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the company.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy for the organization.
• Design and deliver training programs to improve employee skills and knowledge.
• Identify training needs and conduct training needs assessments to determine gaps and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify specific training requirements for their teams.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure the organization remains competitive.
• Manage learning and development budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Oversee the selection and management of external training vendors and consultants.
• Develop and maintain learning and development policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide guidance and support to HR and line managers regarding employee development initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in Learning & Development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing successful learning & development programs.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
