About this position
Responsibilities
Content Strategy Development
• Develop and implement a cohesive content strategy tailored for article websites and social media platforms
• Conduct audience research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviors of the target audience
• Create content calendars to ensure consistent and timely publishing across all platforms
Content Creation for Article Websites
• Plan and write SEO-friendly articles, guides, and blog posts that align with the brand’s objectives
• Collaborate with writers and subject-matter experts to produce high-quality, data-driven, and engaging content
• Use keyword research tools to identify high-impact topics for the website
• Monitor website analytics to optimize existing content for improved rankings and user engagement
Social Media Content Creation
• Create and oversee content for social media platforms, including posts, captions, graphics, and short-form videos
• Work with designers and video editors to develop visually appealing and shareable content
• Align social media content with current trends, brand voice, and audience preferences
• Track social media performance metrics to identify successful content formats and improve future campaigns
SEO and Performance Optimization
• Work with SEO specialists to integrate target keywords into website articles and social media content
• Analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to identify opportunities for improvement
• Continuously refine strategies based on data insights to maximize traffic and engagement
Cross-Platform Consistency
• Ensure content consistency across all channels, including article websites, social media platforms, and other digital touchpoints
• Develop and maintain a style guide to ensure brand voice and tone are consistent
Trend Monitoring and Innovation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media algorithms, and audience preferences to keep content relevant and competitive
• Experiment with new content formats and platforms to expand reach and engagement
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in content creation, strategy, or marketing roles
• Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite)
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz)
• Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and knowledge of short-form video editing tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into compelling content
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
