About this position

Field Service Engineer (Industrial machinery) is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for industrial machinery at customer sites. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role involves troubleshooting, repairing and installing machines, as well as training customers on equipment operation and maintenance. Field Service Engineer (Industrial machinery) will ensure customer satisfaction by providing efficient and effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair industrial machinery and equipment at customer locations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, utilizing technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support and guidance.
• Train customers on proper operation and maintenance of machines, ensuring safe and efficient use.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used.
• Coordinate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales activities.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and advances in industrial machine technology.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements.
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations when performing job duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in industrial machine service and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing complex machine problems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
