About this position

We are looking for Legal Executive. This role is to provide legal support to Business Units in Thailand (Distribution, ZP Therapeutics, Patient Solutions) and assist Legal Counsel, Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Hands on in drafting, reviewing and negotiating distribution agreements and commercial contracts with clients. This position is expected to liaise closely with internal stakeholders to learn to understand the business and the potential risk in order to reflect the same in the agreement negotiation and drafting commercial contracts with customers.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts with vendors/suppliers and customers.
• Provide general legal support, advice and able to collaborate closely with various Zuellig Pharma business units and managers, such as regulatory investigation, labor law matter, data privacy, including liaising and management of external counsel, if required.
• Ensure operations are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
• Handling corporate and company secretarial matters and legal disputes/litigation, including liaising and management of external counsel, if required.
• Maintain a complete database of signed agreements for Thailand.
• All other legal matters arising in the ordinary course of business.

Requirements

• 5 years of work experience with a top law firm and/or multinational company.
• Bachelor's degree in law.
• Experience in commercial contracts negotiations is essential.
• Working for a service provider is highly desirable.
• Familiar with healthcare industry and pharma regulations and/or logistics/distribution is preferred but not required.
• Fluent in both Thai and English (written and spoken).
• Self-motivated, able to work on own with relatively little direct day-to-day supervision.
• Attention to detail.
• Quick learner, able to extrapolate.
• Quiet confidence able to hold firm with both external clients and internal clients but without being abrasive or arrogant.
• Good commercial sense; practical.
• Able to break down and explain complex legal issues to a layman and provide useful, practical advice.
