ESG Lead
About this position
We are looking for an ESG Lead to drive sustainability initiatives and engage with internal and external stakeholders on ESG matters.
Responsibilities
• Communication and engage internal and external parties in relations to ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance)
• Embedded ESG in organization management system
• Being center of excellence and support ESG audits
• Data collection and work with data team to develop interactive dashboard
Drive decarbonisation efforts
• GHG emissions reduction (including actual reduction before use of carbon credits)
• Implementation of decarbonization initiatives within market (i.e., 3R initiatives, Greenovate, etc.)
• Cost-efficiency of decarbonization investment
Center of Excellence model
• Sharing of learnings and best practices with other ESG Leads on a regular basis to drive performance across the organisation
Sustainability Engagement
• Development of localized trainings, collaterals and campaigns to upskill, inspire and educate teams within the market on environment-related topics
• Engagement levels of the market on areas supported by Zuellig Pharma around the “Respecting the Environment” Sustainability Pillar
• Participation rate of the market to sustainability-themed activities throughout the year to increase momentum around sustainability
• Impact of activities and partnerships led by clients and customers on a local level for Sustainability-related initiatives
• Engagement level of Clients & Suppliers on ZP’s Sustainability Programme (i.e., meetings with Clients, annual Sustainability Supplier Awards, etc.)
Deliver data-driven targets for the organisation
• Monitor targets set by Regional Functions and support market functions on the delivery of targets
Embed Sustainability within the organisation
• Partner with other functions within the market to integrate sustainability within their key operations and deliver on sustainability goals
Partner external organisations
• Form strong partnerships with key external stakeholders in the market (clients, customers, suppliers)
• Establish strategic relationships with relevant sustainability partners (credible associations in the market, government stakeholders, etc.)
Data Collection & Reporting
• Support data collection process for key Sustainability initiatives (i.e., EcoVadis, CDP, External Assurance, etc.)
• Work with data team to develop interactive internal dashboards within data portal
ESG Audits
• Support all audits that are relevant to ESG in the markets (i.e., annual External Assurance Process, mock ESG audits, ESG audits initiated by Clients, etc.)
• Ensure ESG audits run smoothly by understanding the scope of the audit, training the teams involved, ensuring the relevant documents and data are in place before the audits commence
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in related fields
• 5 years' experience in ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance)
• Passionate about Sustainability
• Leadership & Communication – must be able to work with other functions effectively
• Independent, proactive and experienced leader
• Agile in moving with fast-paced changes, with the ability to deliver on priorities
• Proficient both Thai and English
