Network Engineer (IP Enterprise)
About this position
The Network Engineer will configure and troubleshoot IPEN (Internet Protocol Enterprise) routers and switches, support network integration, and generate migration and KPI reports. The role requires strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), technical support skills, and a degree in IT or a related field. Flexibility for night shifts is needed.
Responsibilities
• Strictly follow Team Lead/Technical manager requirements and instructions.
• Be responsible for the IPEN (Enterprise) routers and switches configuration which state in MOP and follow strictly.
• Be able to perform troubleshooting of routers and switches when problem occurred.
• Communicate with subcontractors and site engineer/ Local technical engineer during network integration and service migration.
• Provide customer/project team technical support, such as device specification, network design and etc.
• Be able to have clear understand of swap procedure, and discuss with customer.
• Output a service migration report.
• Output the KPI monitoring report as required and timely submit it to the customer and ZTE team.
Requirements
• Degree in Computer, Telecommunication, IT and related major.
• Be able to adapt to long term night-time operation.
• Have knowledge of TCP/IP, and routing protocols such as OSPF/ISIS/BGP.
• Have knowledge of MPLS/L2VPN/L3VPNS technology will be advantage.
• Have experience in Juniper routers/switches will be advantage.
• Good command of English and Thai.
