About this position

The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all civil works related to the data center construction, including site preparation, foundations, structural work, and exterior construction. The individual will ensure that all civil works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

-Manage and supervise all civil construction activities for the data center, including excavation, foundation work, structural elements, and site infrastructure.
-Work closely with the Project Manager and MEP Manager to integrate civil works with other systems (e.g., electrical, HVAC).
-Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that work is executed according to plans and schedules.
-Ensure that civil construction complies with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
-Monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and report on the status of civil works to senior management and the client.
-Oversee quality control procedures and ensure the completion of all necessary inspections and certifications.

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
-7+ years of experience in managing civil works for large-scale projects, preferably in data center or critical infrastructure construction.
-Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
-Experience working with a multidisciplinary team and managing multiple subcontractors.
-Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
-Certification in construction management or project safety is preferred.
