About this position

For our location in Bangkok (Thailand), we are looking for a Mechanical Superintendent in the form of a permanent employment relationship.

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for the assembly of the mechanical components for brewery plants.
• Organization and preparation of assembly orders
• Ensuring the proper carry-out of the assembly and the acceptance test for the individual construction and plant sectors onsite
• Controlling the assembly companies to carry out their works
• Monitoring dates and deadlines, carrying out functional tests, analyzing occurring faults and failures, and initiating or carrying out remedial measures
• Taking over documentation of the assembly activities
• Assembly progress evaluation according to specified criteria and alternative strategies development
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Coordination with site managers, the technical and logistics department, and the project management
• Performing the aftersales service tasks after the equipment is taken into use

Requirements

• Completion of the technical training e.g. Plant Mechanic or Pipe Filter
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position or the field assembly is required
• Experience in assembly and commissioning of plants and systems for the food industry is an advantage
• Experience in the field of mash filtration or filter presses is a plus
• Ability to read the drawing and schematic diagrams
• Carrying out the resulting work independently
• Experience in technical and leadership with interdisciplinary and multicultural teams as well as competence in dealing with international customers, suppliers, and authorities
• Good English communication skills
• PC literate, in MS Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
• Mobility and willingness to travel around the world on business and to work on construction sites are essential
• Assertive, analytical and solution-oriented personality
• Graduated in mechanical engineering or other related fields
