Warehouse Supervisor
About this position
Responsibilities
• Control the warehouse all activities (inbound, put away, feeding and outbound) to ensure the smooth flow housekeeping in part the self-assured receipt, storage, put away, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into system and internal flows.
• Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, lift truck etc.
• Control shipping all activities (control stock FG, put away FG, loading, prepare) operations to ensure all policies and procedures are followed accordingly.
• Always research to improve all warehouse operations according to company’s objectives and lean methodology.
• Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
• Ensure proper handling of materials, and materials are received/ kept and issued with the right quantity and conditions.
• Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of day by day with a primary focus on safety, efficiency and cost controls.
• Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit of same to verify results issue inventory accuracy report to management with root cause and corrective actions.
• Quality awareness as well as apply IATF 16949:2016 to the area of work.
• Support other activities which related to physical logistics e.g. Milk run route, Material flow, Maintain 5S activities.
• Active Participation in New Project Launches and Launch Readiness.
• Responsible for packaging design/modifying and input data to packaging specification form.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics or related fields.
• Related experience in Supply Chain (Material Management, Warehousing, Distributions, Transportation and 3PL Logistics).
• Has experience in packaging design is advantageous.
• Computer literate on Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, able to operate MFG Pro is preferred.
• Good command in English.
• Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to adjust or adapt to changed situations and complexity.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to express a subject clearly and understandable and to persuade others.
