About this position

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and providing strategic advice to management to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively identify process & application improvement opportunities and align with Planning, management and control of the reporting unit location and thus ensuring that the planned success of the reporting unit ‘location’ is achieved
• Ensuring and taking responsibility for quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements (P&L / balance sheet) according to IFRS of the reporting unit ‘location’
• Ensuring the accounting service for the reporting units of the I-Division in FRD in order to timely display quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements (P&L / balance sheet) according to IFRS)
• Development and implementation of high-performance planning and controlling systems, ensuring the monthly, annual SAP accounting systems (FI / CO modules), complete responsibility for the FP1 configuration of the SAP accounting modules (FI / CO) at the location, ensuring the FP1 system availability for the locations
• Monitoring of the optimal use of resources
• Advice to managers and, in particular, to the location’s management team in terms of business support and, if necessary, initiation of necessary measures to achieve the goals

Requirements

• 10 years plus of experience in financial and management roles. Strong understanding of the major processes and functions across the business.
• Experience should cover a range of disciplines within finance (e.g. controllership, audit, Treasury, Tax, Systems etc.).
• Equivalent of university degree in business or finance.
• Fluent in English language.
• Strong analytical skills and action-oriented individual with integrity and trust who will not compromise values.
• Good motivator and effective communicator who functions well in an international matrix organization.
