Finance Manager
About this position
ZF is a German technology automotive parts manufacturing company that supplies systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology. We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Chonburi, Thailand. This role will be mainly taking care of all the finance activities within this plant.
Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day administration of the Finance organization –Prepare and submit financial and operational analysis and report to support the management’s decision making. Ensure the high reliability and timely delivery of financial information, in line with ZF’s standards, local statutory requirements and IFRS standards.
• Initiate strategic proposals for business growth, productivity and profitability improvement. Provide leadership in budgeting and forecasting process.
• Overlook the internal control and risk management in the business units and take necessary adjustment for policies and procedures and achieve effective implementation to ensure an optimized control environment.
• Handle the treasury and taxation management. Lead to improve the cashflow position for the plant.
• Lead and develop the entity’s finance team.
• Work closely and support General Manager on all business and strategic decision-making.
• Initiate, drive and monitor action plans to improve profit and cash flow performance.
• Prepare budgets; perform in depth financial analysis of various business scenarios (business case study), working with multiple currencies; identify business trends and opportunities.
• Handle banking/treasury functions as required; provide accurate forecasting; ensure superior credit control.
• Oversee accounting processes including billing, payables, payroll and month-end closing, ensuring accurate account reconciliations and account analysis.
• Implementation and maintenance of rigorous financial controls and compliance with internal control requirement.
• Ensure compliance with all appropriate local statutory regulations and versus IFRS (generally accepted accounting principals) for ZF reporting.
• Cooperation and support as required various requests and analysis required by Asia-Pacific or Corporate Departments.
• Manage the smooth and cost effective external and internal audit process; ensure all potential audit issues are mitigated in a timely fashion, maintain relationship with auditors throughout the year.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (at least) in Accounting/Finance/Commerce, ACCA/CPA/CMA or MBA preferred.
• At least 10 years accounting/finance working experience.
• Background in manufacturing enterprises is a must.
• Background in large distribution organizations and/or accounting firms is preferred.
• Analytical Skills – Operational / financial analysis skills.
• Financial/Accounting skills – Accounting principles, audit and process control practices.
• Tax skills-tax related process, tax audit and hi-technique related audit.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Efficient self-organization skills to maintain high level of multi-tasking.
• Adaptability – be able to adapt to varying time constraints, resource levels and organizational situations.
