About this position

The Product Specialist NES (Neuro) in Jakarta is responsible for managing product activities, conducting market research, launching products, and supporting sales efforts to enhance customer retention and acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product management activities including strategic planning, brand building activities and product development plans including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
• Conduct research for marketing and product/brand development plan and strategy, such as brand awareness, marketing activity, and digital marketing.
• Conduct product launch/relaunch activity to increase market share and strengthen the existing or established products.
• Monitoring and collating of competitive activities, analysis, and interpretation of market information as well as customer needs.
• Provide support in designing and managing promotion and marketing materials, marketing campaigns, resources for exhibition, and other marketing activities to ensure the readiness for sales team.
• Plan and organize for product evaluation, product campaign or special activities.
• Work closely with sales department for below-the-line planning and execution to implement & monitor marketing initiatives for the product.
• Build relationships and maintain strong network with existing accounts to support customers' requirements and future needs.
• Staying update with product knowledge, market dynamic, and sales process relating to the product.
• Provide support and organize product knowledge training and marketing tools for sales department.
• Involve in inventory forecasting and ordering.
• Achieve product wise sales objective.
• Represent the company at local and interstate conferences and customer events.
• Contribute to the organizational culture and continuous improvement of ZEISS.

Requirements

• Degree in biology, medical, study biomedical engineer, electromedical, marketing, economic or any relevant field.
• At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in commercial (sales/marketing/product), application and engineer of medical devices, pharmaceuticals or life science company.
• Knowledge in ophthalmology business, healthcare, medical or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
• Experience in product management, product launch and marketing activity.
• Deep understanding of product features and competitiveness.
• Pleasant personality, proactive mindset.
• Self-starter, self-directed, team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
• Possess strong analytical and strategical skills.
• Possess strong interpersonal and customer and management skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and places personal and business integrity at forefront.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, high work standards and quality.
• Customer-oriented attitude; deals tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion, excellent listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows.
• Advanced skills in encouraging people & influencing decision.
• Excellent in communication & presentation skills.
• Fluent English, local language and additional languages are an advantage.
