Material & Inventory Control Officer
About this position
The Material & Inventory Control Officer is responsible for monitoring and managing the use of raw materials and parts, ensuring efficient production planning and inventory control.
Responsibilities
• Monitoring, analyze forecast data on the use of raw materials and parts to estimate and manage capacity for production plan.
• Order for raw materials and parts to be able to production.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess stock. Manage and control inventory movement.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to gather data and insights for accurate demand forecasting. Use this information to create production plans that meet future market demands.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Design or related field.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in automotive industry for production planning, supply chain management, production control, material control, warehouse and logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address design challenges and find effective solutions.
• Familiarity with automotive regulations and standards, and design testing protocols.
• Quality Standard: QS 9000/lATF16949.
• Good English proficiency at reading, writing and speaking.
