Manufacturing Engineer
About this position
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods while ensuring maximum efficiency in production processes.
Responsibilities
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods
• Utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication process, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods.
• Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
• Confirms with contract manufacturers to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluates products according to specifying engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing production processes.
• Cost reduction study
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or related field
• 1 – 3 years of experience in automotive industry
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address design challenges and find effective solutions.
• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve common design goals.
