About this position

The Logistics & Transportation Officer is responsible for planning and optimizing transportation routes, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining service quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize transportation routes, modes, and schedules to reduce transportation expenses and delivery lead times.
• Identify, evaluate, and select transportation carriers and service providers, negotiate contracts, and manage carrier relationships to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation services.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for transportation operations, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to transportation operations, including performance metrics and cost tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in managing logistics and transportation in the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good English proficiency at reading, writing, and speaking.
