Customer Service-Export (Ocean Freight Forwarding)
About this position
The Customer Service-Export position in Ocean Freight Forwarding involves managing customer bookings, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring timely communication with carriers and overseas agents.
Responsibilities
• Received booking information form customer, place the same information to carrier, release booking confirmation to customer for their export preparation.
• Prepare draft B/L for checking and issue the original one by input into Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Submit shipping instruction to carrier through GDS or carrier website for issuing Master B/L.
• Follow up, checking the expense from carrier in order to prepare invoice to each customer into GDS within time frame.
• Prepare job order to messenger to deliver Master B/L, checking the accuracy and completeness of Master B/L to upload into GDS for posting.
• Pre - alert to Oversea Agent.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management or any related field.
• Experienced for 1-3 years in customer service of Ocean Freight Forwarding.
• Good command in English.
• Capable in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel (VLookup, Pivot) and Power Point.
• Attention to documentary, gathering data and follow up.
• Good communication skill and problem solving skill.
• Experienced in coaching and supervising team.
