About this position

The Assistant Manager-Oversea Coordinator (Ocean Freight Forwarding) is responsible for overseeing customer interactions, managing key accounts, and ensuring effective communication between customers and overseas agents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee interactions with customers and overseas agents via email, telephone, or face-to-face meetings, ensuring professionalism and effectiveness in communication
• Supervise the provision of pricing and delivery information to overseas agents and customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor responses to customer and overseas agent inquiries, ensuring prompt and efficient service within defined timeframes
• Investigate, resolve, and follow up on customer or agent complaints, implementing solutions and improvements to prevent recurrence
• Maintain and oversee the integrity of customer databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
• Coordinate workflow across teams to ensure customer deadlines and expectations are consistently met
• Manage key customer accounts, nurturing relationships and identifying opportunities for growth
• Provide guidance and expertise on the shipping process, explaining each step clearly to customers and agents
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal departments to optimize operations and enhance service delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or related field.
• At least 4 years working experiences in Sales Logistics, Oversea Coordinator, Customer Service in Ocean Freight Forwarding, Import-Export and Shipping
• Good command of English.
• Good communication, Presentation skills and Negotiation skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
