About this position

The CAD Technician at YETI will create engineered files in both 2D and 3D with input from Design Engineers, Project Engineers, and Industrial Designers. They will maintain existing files and manage product data, becoming the expert in dimensioning and tolerance at YETI.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify Solidworks models
• Research the standards and codes for drawings related to various manufacturing sectors
• Review engineering drawings prior to the release.
• Develop accurate part drawings, assembly drawings, details and Bills of Material, etc.
• Collaborate with engineers to research drawings, models and sketches to develop detailed dimensioned drawings.
• Maintain the consistency of part drawings and files at YETI

• You thrive in a fast paced team environment and are able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• You are a skilled CAD technician looking to work in a multi-disciplinary team that supports the development of great product.
• You get excited making the new and different while working with Design Engineers and Industrial Designers.
• Most importantly you thrive on creating highly detailed drawings and models and articulate the results clearly both written and verbally.
