About this position

The Associate Strategy Director will work closely with the Strategy Lead, leading the development of media strategy, media planning best practices, consumer engagement strategies, and thought leadership for some of Nestlé’s core categories. The successful candidate will collaborate with various specialists within the agency and clients to create insightful, impactful strategies that contribute to the growth of the client’s business.

Responsibilities

• Work with Category leads and Strategy Lead in the development of media strategy, media planning best practices, consumer engagement strategies, and thought leadership.
• Knowledgeable/willing to embrace learning of media fundamentals particular to Nestlé’s way of planning, ensuring agency tools and capabilities are properly maximized.
• Support the design and delivery of media.

Requirements

• Experience in data and insights-driven media & communication strategy, preferably in an agency setting; at least 4-6 years of experience in strategic planning/account management/media planning.
• Understanding of how brand-building and performance-focused media strategies connect and impact business outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with some experience in designing and delivering presentations to senior clients.
• Experience collaborating with clients to distill business challenges into clear, concise media strategic briefs.
• Ability to contribute to the creation of integrated strategies across multifunctional teams (internal/external).
• Effective storytelling skills, with the ability to make clear, actionable recommendations on complex business problems.
• Ability to work with and inspire teams across different cultures, markets, and capabilities.
• Familiarity with syndicated research tools, consumer research methodologies, and techniques (e.g., GWI, Euromonitor, eMarketer, WARC).
• Experience with FMCG brands and cross-channel media planning is a plus.
