About this position

We’re looking for Cost Controller to join our Indonesia team. As a cost controller, you will be responsible to act as the focal point for cost controls on the site and to integrate all cost controls activities within the portfolio of projects undergoing delivery at site.

Responsibilities

The Role Responsibilities Include
• Coordinate the overall cost analysis activities on projects; assuming responsibility for preparation, quality, and accuracy of project cost reports; establishing liaison with project management and clients on all matters relating to cost control; assigning and reviewing work of subordinate cost analysis staff.
• Develop, implement, and control the project accounting and job costing system to meet project requirements.
• Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the data being processed.
• Liaise with Worley Corporate and Client accounting groups to establish a project cost control and reporting methodology.
• Liaise with clients to clarify cost related issues and develop timely and meaningful monthly invoices. Ensure payment of invoices according to PMC contract terms.
• Preparation of monthly financial reports for the project. Also prepare other financial analysis as required on an adhoc basis.
• Ensure effective coordination and cooperation between other team members, particularly regarding cost, planning (forecasting) and procurement matters.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual and budget/forecast costs and prepare financial reports for project management and key stakeholders.
• Conduct periodic cost audits to ensure adherence to project financial controls and identify cost risks and uncertainties and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and other personnel.
• Promote the identification of potential areas of concern or improvement, to maximize cost effectiveness on projects and work practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Cost Controller within the oil and gas, construction, and petrochemical sectors.
