Electrical Supervisor/Utility Supervisor
About this position
The Electrical Supervisor/Utility Supervisor is responsible for managing maintenance support teams, ensuring the readiness of plant equipment, and conducting root cause analysis for machine breakdowns. The role involves motivating personnel, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Manpower management to manage team in Maintenance support.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance program and ensures the readiness of all the plant equipment in order to meet the production volume and OEE target requirement.
• Conduct weekly root cause analysis for machine breakdown and minimize down time via BDA.
• Summary machine breakdown via BDR (Breakdown report) and finding root cause with BDA (Breakdown analysis) using 4M analysis, why-why analysis and fish bone analysis.
• Perform machine breakdown versus actions to ensure that all roots cause was analyzed with actions verified.
• Initiates machine improvement and corrective action in the processing line and production process to eliminate or prevent repeated machine breakdown.
• Motivates personnel through periodic dialogue, counseling and coaching, recognition of exemplary performances and encouraging high-level performance.
• Take lead and perform quarterly machine inspection and yearly overhaul.
• Coach Technician work on shop floor to perform good performance and achieve AOP.
• Follow QFS Procedure and monitoring process to ensure that Product without Quality Food Safety Issue.
• Follow Safety Procedure and monitoring process to ensure that machine and equipment without safety Issue.
• Performs other tasks / duties in support company goals and objective.
• Perform task assignment by Senior Engineers / Repair and Maintenance manager.
• Understand and communicate compliance requirements, risks, and best practices.
• Identify and control hazards and risks by near miss report and MOC process.
• Monitor compliance status and develop/recommend plans to close gaps.
• Educate and coach direct report on HSE topics and their responsibilities.
• Demonstrate safety behavior and environmental awareness of maintenance activity.
• Facilitate a culture that promotes safe work behaviors/correct environmental focus as a way of business.
• Institutionalize HSE activities as necessary elements of the business.
• Manage HSE-related records Interface with regulatory agencies during inspection and enforcement activities.
• Demonstrate safe behavior and work procedures.
• Support all ISO and AIB external audit.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher of Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or other related Engineering Profession.
• Experience in Instrument field and PLC / SCADA in advantage.
• Experience in Food and Beverage in advantage at least 3 years.
• More advantage fort possesses technical knowledge in the following fields with at least 3 years’ experience:
• Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Fields.
• Industrial process & control.
• Good understanding engineering tools such as TPM, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis.
• Good knowledge and computer skill such as MS-office, AutoCAD, MS-Project, etc.
• Good Leadership and motivate with teamwork.
• Be able to work on every other Saturday.
