PPIC Supervisor
About this position
The PPIC Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing production plans, monitoring inventory, and ensuring efficient operations to meet customer demands and operational goals.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and operational goals.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotations, and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement and availability of materials.
• Analyze production data, forecasts, and inventory reports to identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Work closely with production, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Identify areas for improvement in planning and inventory processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and resource utilization to senior management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management, preferably in a palm oil refinery or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
