About this position

The Senior Legal Associate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts, preparing documents for government permits, conducting legal research, and coordinating with various agencies to ensure efficient task completion.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review various types of contracts such as land purchase agreements, lease agreements, service agreements, power purchase agreements, and construction contracts.
• Prepare documents and liaise with government agencies for obtaining various permits, including registration of land rights and juristic acts, and land surveying.
• Research laws and Supreme Court judgments, and provide legal opinions on various matters.
• Coordinate and negotiate with government agencies and/or relevant organizations both internally and externally to ensure the swift and efficient completion of tasks according to the plan.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Proficient in computer usage, Microsoft Office, and basic software applications.
• Knowledge of land law and land tax law is an advantage.
• Experience in dealing with government agencies, especially land offices, or knowledge of land law and land tax law will be considered an advantage.
