Logistic Specialist
About this position
Our Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and tracking all incoming and outgoing freight for Greater Thailand. You will review and execute shipping documents, ensure proper tracking for arriving and departing shipments. You will work closely with Trade Compliance, Thailand Product Line Operations, Shared Services (A&I, Facility) and liaise with Custom and Government Authority. This position will report directly to the Logistics Manager – Greater Thailand.
Responsibilities
• Arrange and coordinate to ensure all inbound freight, both International and Domestic is delivered by requested on site date.
• Maintain appropriate databases and provide reports as requested. Accurate documentation in a timely manner is critical.
• Remain current with all applicable Import and Export Custom and Government Authority Regulations.
• Quote, route, coordinate and track all shipments.
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation for shipments.
• Expediting business critical shipments.
• Conduct regular audit for both Import and Export shipments to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Know and understand Weatherford Policy and comply with all requirements of the Policies and Procedures.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and regulations of Weatherford.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Requirements
• Comfortable working in the offices of Bangkok and Songkhla.
• Ability to comprehend critical documents and to learn quickly.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to an ever-changing work environment.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Prior skill working with ERP System beneficial.
• Good oral and written communication skills with professional phone skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Detail oriented.
• 5+ years of experience.
