About this position

The R&D Supervisor (Packaging Development) is responsible for leading the development of new packaging designs and technologies, overseeing the packaging development process, and ensuring compliance with regulations and global standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead to development of new packaging designs and technologies that align with company goals and consumer preferences.
• Oversee the packaging development process, from initial concept through the final production.
• Conduct CP-test for new packaging material or packaging for new product.
• Support technical analysis, evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of packaging materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and supply chain to ensure packaging meets all requirement and schedule control.
• Conduct research on packaging materials, trends, and sustainability practices to implement innovative solutions.
• Manage relationships with external packaging suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
• Ensure all packaging complies with regulations and global standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Development, Technology or related field.
• 2-5 year experience on packaging development.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and sustainability practices.
• Good project management skills.
• Good command in English.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams and deliver the best result.
• Problem solving skills.
