About this position

The Ground Operations Automation Specialist at Suvarnabhumi Airport is responsible for implementing and managing systems that support ground operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Be able to work in Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)
• Devise and implement Departure Control System (DCS) and other mandatory platform or system to support ground operations
• Establish the system business rules according to the company policy and directive
• Develop the user requirement to interface with system to ensure user friendly and ease to operational
• Provide the standards procedure and constantly evaluate the quality of service provider through quantitative and objective measures
• Identify staff requirements and training needs, establishing program to develop the frontline team to achieve operational excellence
• Establish clear accountabilities, processes & standards and ensure compliance the liaise with external service providers and authority concerned to ensure the DCS implementation and data submission are fully compatible at each station location
• Pro-active role in anticipating and solving problems before they occur and in implementing innovative solutions to achieve competitive advantage
• Updating AHM560 of all aircraft type in applicable DCS system and readiness for utilization
• Handle the problem solving and system failure solution with the internal and external providers
• Other assignments from the direct Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree related to the position
• At least 5 years working experience in the aviation industry or 2 years with DCS system handling
• Proven knowledge in ground operations DCS system
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced changing environment
• Airline DCS system experience is necessary
