About this position

The Human Resources Business Partner is a critical role that provides strategic leadership and guidance on all matters related to human resources. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR strategies and practices, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and their teams, providing consultation and support on recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and other HR-related matters. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with the goals of the organization, as well as creating and maintaining a positive and productive work environment

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
3. Manage the recruitment and selection process.
4. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
5. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
6. Nurture a positive working environment.
7. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
8. Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
9. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
10. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on business partnering
• Proven track record of working with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State employment law, compensation, and benefits
• Ability to build relationships and influence decisions at all organizational levels
