About this position

The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving the company budget through individual sales targets and teamwork. This role involves managing sales activities within a designated customer portfolio, focusing on steel products for various industries, and developing strong business relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the sales of steel products for the oil & gas, chemical, powergen or other (renewable) energy industries. Primarily sales of pipes, tubes, fittings, flanges or other related steel products.
• Ensure achievement of individual and company sales targets
• Involved in offering to customers and sourcing of materials from suppliers
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers to maximize revenue and margins
• Close coordination and cooperation with back-office support members
• Maintain sales related documentation like sales master, customer information sheets etc.
• Conduct customer visits, build relations and drive market development with existing and new customers
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand customer base
• Prepare sales reports and brief commercial department of developments during regular sales briefings
• Assist in operational execution and payments (whereas required)
• Responsible for general administrative tasks related to sales and where required and/or assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or other relevant field
• Minimum 2 years experience in sales / marketing function with proven track record. Relevant experience in the steel industry, oil & gas, petrochemical & construction industries preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English is a must
• High computer literacy with advanced skills in MS Office especially in MS Excel
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to deal with people of all levels
• Strong communicator with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
• Visit customers in Chonburi, Rayong, Bangkok and other areas in Thailand with own vehicle
