Brand Manager (Fashion Brand / Skincare)
About this position
The Brand Manager is responsible for driving sales and profitability of the brand and stores, managing sales, marketing, and operations functions, and ensuring total brand management including P&L to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
• Drive sales and profitability of the Brand and the stores for the assigned area(s) and/or brands and manage the sales, marketing and operations functions.
• Maintain strong relationship with Brand principal and other key stakeholders.
• Drive retail excellence in line with the Brand and Valiram standards.
• Support the CRM and increase existing base of VIP customers.
• To be an ambassador for the represented BRAND and portray at all times a professional and customer-oriented image.
• Foster a positive, engaging and ethical working environment.
• Optimise the sales, profits and other retail performance criteria.
• Strategise and implement brand communication needs in keeping with the integrity of the brand and regional appeal.
• Plan and maximise the sales and profit contribution of the Brand.
• Develop annual business plan to reflect brand positioning, negotiate key aspects of the planned delivery with the brand principal.
• Achieve business plan profit.
• Direct Operations/Store Manager on managerial and operational aspects of the store with adherence and compliance to the retail operations standard.
• Driving associate behaviour and productivity.
• Partner with Merchandising to maintain brand profitability by managing full price and mark down sales, intake margins, levels of mark down activity and terminal stock.
• Lead localised pricing strategy and competitor insights and implement appropriate change to maximise sales and increase local market share.
• Reports and statistic compilations in relation to brand performance and share product performance and insight with HOD.
• Managing and maintaining a positive working relationship with the brand principal.
• Plan, direct and implement appropriate localised marketing activities/events/promotions for positive brand building and in driving sales.
• Partner with Brand principal/HOD to develop seasonal marketing and social media strategies.
• Provide insights to Valiram and the Brand, to better understand market trends and dynamics.
• Support store to maintain productivity and retail operational standards in areas of discipline, work performance and sales.
• In touch with what is happening in the store through periodic store visits.
• Support and assist in projects/ta.
Requirements
• Financial KPIs (Sales, $GM and GM rate, Wage control, Shrinkage).
• Operational KPIs (Conversion, ATV).
• Marketing KPIs (Traffic build, CRM registration, tagging and life cycle management, Social following and engagement).
• Strategic KPIs (Category target, Sales per labour hour).
