Area Manager - Fashion / Beauty (Bangkok)
About this position
Provide responsible and skilled leadership in directing all retail aspects of the Brand, driving sales and profitability of all stores while managing retail operations and fostering a positive working environment.
Responsibilities
Optimize the sales, profits and other retail performance criteria
• Analyze sales figures, monitor expenses to optimize sales and profits by ensuring accurate, timely and commercial sales planning and forecasting of all stores
• Develop & implement efficient in-store management systems to monitor operating costs
• Assess and prioritize all store maintenance issues and Manage all new store openings from a retail operations perspective
Achieve High Service and Maintain Best Retail Working Standards
• Guarantee that our stores are offering WOW customer service in stores via training and coaching
• Responding to customer complaints and dealing with staffs issues
• Benchmark competitors in terms of service standards
Day to Day Retail Operations Excellence
• Lead and monitor day to day retail operations and monitor sales achievement
• Check if retail standards are being followed and working with Store Manager to resolve discrepancies in retail standards
• Coordinate all matters related to POS systems – receiving records, invoices, transfers, shortage, and damage reports and purchase orders
Inventory Integrity
• Evaluate stock requirements and ensure timely replenishment, maximum stock turns and control aged inventory in the stores
• Manage inventory and minimize stock losses
• Monitor outlets monthly stock take routine to ensure inventory accuracy and submission of reports on timely manner
Team Leadership and Development
• Work with the Store Manager to close vacancy in the stores and identify talent pool within the department while ensuring retention of staff
• Conduct staff appraisal and quarterly performance review
• Building and Develop talent and store team
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of management experience in Fashion / Beauty or Luxury goods or a comparable retail environment and experience in Customer Service
• Able to handle store operations and administrative tasks
• To have and maintain at all times competent product knowledge thru regular training for staff
• Quality leadership skills to lead the staff to perform to their fullest potential
• Build and maintain good rapport with staffs and customers
• Strong leadership qualities
• Pleasant Personality
• Excellent communicator
• Proficient in computer skills
• Fluent English and both in written and spoken. Knowledge of other language is added advantage
