About this position

The Specialist, F(P)SO Project & Operation (Contractor) is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of F(P)SO, managing project bidding, and ensuring compliance with regulations while optimizing vessel management.

Responsibilities

• Develop roadmap and detailed plan for getting Document of Compliance (DOC) for Clients Operation & Maintenance under Liberian Flag including proposed organization, Designated Person Ashore (DPA), Company Security Officer (CSO), manpower to fulfill DOC requirement.
• Be person in charge for bidding package of new F(P)SO in Clients Operating Assets covering vessel specification review, Statement of Requirement (SOR), Contract review for Bareboat charter (BBC) and Operation / Maintenance (O&M), technical clarification with bidder,
• Be person in charge for F(P)SO conversion at onshore yard and ensure contractor delivery timeline and quality of work according to classification rules.
• Be focal point to optimize F(P)SO vessel management plan in correspondence with production field life to maximize NPV and taxation.
• Be focal point for F(P)SO replacement if company decides to invest new F(P)SO.
• Be representatives as marine SME (Subject Matter Expert) to internal and external organizations, i.e. IESG, OVID, IMCA.

Requirements

• Preferably an offshore marine background.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in a supervisory / managerial/ advisory role relating to offshore upstream oil and gas.
• Minimum of 15 years in an appropriate Oil and Gas environment with at least 5 years in leading roles and SME. Strong safety and environmental awareness. Proven leadership qualities.
• Experience within the Oil and Gas offshore industry that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the diversified aspects of this particular key position.
• Strong managerial and contract management skills.
• Effective communicator at all levels; fluent in English, oral and written.
• Effective in planning and prioritizing work tasks.
• Personal motivation and self-learning ability.
• Ability to give presentations and to chair meetings.
• Effective in people development.
• Proven leadership qualities and ability to lead a team and individuals.
