Finance Analyst
About this position
The Finance Analyst is responsible for supervising monthly closing processes, providing financial analysis, and supporting management in decision-making through various financial reports and tools.
Responsibilities
• Supervises, understands and challenges monthly closing
• Provides analysis of monthly results to the management (explain variance vs. budget, month N-1 on all P&L and activity analysis lines)
• Monitors the financial performance (weekly reporting)
• Coordinates budget and MTP processes (guidelines, recharges, standard templates, etc.)
• Benchmarks and standardizes management control tools
• Achieves specific ad-hoc analysis
• Proposes solutions for the litigations between sites, product lines, product groups (transfer price, R&D recharge, etc.)
• Achieves on-site management control reviews
• Reviews and pre-validates IAR (respect of appropriate work flow) and CAA (respect of appropriate work flow)
• People management: Supports in the training and career development of finance people
• Creates a proactive team within the perimeter and help identifying high potentials
• Consolidates Asean RO reporting (month-end/MTP/Budget) and prepare presentation
• Follow-up for Asean back to budget & align 3 sites for synergy actions
• Asean inflation pass-through monitoring
• Supports Asean RO in weekly Best Estimate analysis and identifying improvement
• Ensures IAS/IFRS standard application
• Supports Ad-hoc Asean indicator reports
• Prepares Asean comparison and share best practices
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years experience in cost accounting or industrial controlling
• Background from automotive industry will be a plus
• Strong in Ms Excel and SAP
• Good command of English communication skills
