About this position

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategies, expanding market presence, managing a sales team, acquiring new customers, overseeing sales operations, collaborating with marketing, representing the brand, and managing the sales budget.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive new customer acquisition.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
• Set clear sales goals and KPIs aligned with the brand’s objectives.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities across different regions.
• Develop relationships with key distributors, retailers, and partners to expand market presence.
• Evaluate and enter new distribution channels and sales platforms.
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
• Set sales targets and provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage team development to achieve sales goals.
• Design and implement customer acquisition campaigns and initiatives.
• Develop and manage promotional activities and incentives to attract new customers.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of acquisition strategies and adjust as needed.
• Oversee daily sales operations to ensure targets are met and processes are efficient.
• Implement sales best practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Utilize CRM tools and sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for growth.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on sales performance and market feedback.
• Represent our company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Maintain and enhance the brand’s image and reputation in the market.
• Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Monitor expenditures and report on budget adherence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience as a National Sales Manager or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of sales principles and practices.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics.
• Ability to analyze data and draw insights to inform sales strategies.
• Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Experience in budget management and reporting.
• Certification in Sales or Marketing is a plus.
