About this position

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. This is a pivotal role responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of our organization, driving key strategic decisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering precise financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure transparency and accuracy.
• Financial Planning & Budgeting: Lead the development and execution of financial strategies, including budgets, forecasts, and projections. Identify areas for financial improvement and support long-term growth plans.
• Risk Management: Assess, identify, and mitigate financial risks while ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Accounting Oversight: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions. Ensure accurate and timely financial processing.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international tax regulations. Oversee tax planning and reporting to minimize financial risk and optimize efficiency.
• Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decisions, offering insights for cost-saving opportunities, revenue growth, and operational efficiencies.
• Controller & Audit Stakeholder: Act as the main point of contact for both internal and external auditors. Prepare audit documentation, ensure compliance with audit requirements, and address any findings or concerns. Foster strong relationships with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring they are supported and developing professionally. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is highly desirable.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a financial controller or similar role.
